We went to the State Fair on Monday and had a good ol' time. It was overcast and comfortable for the most part during the first half, then it became hot, humid, and a little more than uncomfortable for the second half, but we trudged on and covered as much as we could before we had to give up.
Awake, alert, ready and rarin' to go!

Pioneer Village - Andrew had a series of tasks he had to complete to collect a number of things in his basket. He then sorted his items into bins at the end and received $1 to buy a snack from Walmart. Yes, there was a Walmart in the Pioneer Village.

Animals! Pigs, cows, sheep, goats, ducks, chickens, horses...we saw them all. Andrew loved the animals and even talked to the ducks for few minutes. The Purdue Dairy Association had a few calves in a pen (they were taking donations) and Andrew was able to go in and pet them. I wasn't sure if he would go, but he did.
