Andrew loves...

It took a little while for Andrew to catch on to this. I had to ask him, "what do you love?" "what do you love?" "WHAT DO YOU LOVE?!" Kidding - it wasn't quite like that. Eventually, Andrew would say, "I Wuv..."

We ended up with (in no particular order):

banana, Stella, Elmo, nigh' night, Evie, Baby, cars, rake, granola bar, Miss Kate, and Sesame Street.

Sounds good to me! Then Andrew placed some sticky foam circles (and 1 triangle) for added decoration.

Biggest snow of the year!

We woke up to a whole lot of snow Wednesday morning. At one point I heard it was 7 inches, and then I heard 12 inches. I'm not sure what we actually ended up with. Andrew and I spent a good hour or more outside in the morning and then another hour in the afternoon. It was fun!

Now I've had my fill of Winter and I am so ready for Spring...and it isn't even February yet.

28 weeks

I took this picture last week and forgot to doing anything with it. In this picture I'm 28 weeks. Today I am 28 weeks, 6 days. As you can see baby is growing...and growing. It's hard to believe, but I am in my 3rd trimester. It won't be long!

A funny story...a few nights ago Andrew was in the bathtub and I was standing in front of the sink. He looked at my belly and said, "Mommy baby." Cute, huh? It was even cuter when Andrew looked down at his belly (which was sticking out a little) and he pointed to it and said, "Andrew baby."

Lotion Party!

How do you get lotion on Andrew's face (his cheeks and chin are a little chapped) without him freaking out? Teach him to do it himself. It actually worked! It was messy, but it worked.

A Whole New Bath Experience

I know this may be hard to believe or understand, but it has been a long, long time since Andrew sat down in the bath. He chose to stand up and walk around and move his toys and floating letters from one end of the tub to the next. In the past few days he began to feel brave and finally made the plunge...and loved it. Now, I can hardly get him out of the tub. He also tries to "swim" on his belly which makes me crazy nervous. It's been a long time since I have been able to take good bath pictures.

Painting!

Mr. Creative decided to paint a picture by painting his hand first, then painting the paper with his hand. This caught me by surprise (hence no smock) because Andrew normally asks for a towel everytime he gets paint on his hand.

Well, we got the bed and Andrew was overwhelmed with excitement. He did manage to settle himself down enough to take a good nap and is sleeping soundly in it right now. He looks so small in the big bed!

moving to a big-boy bed

Assuming all goes well (if we make it to Costco, if Costco has mattresses like they say they do, and we can get the toddler bed taken down), Andrew will be moving to a twin bed tomorrow. He has only been in the toddler bed for a few months, but because the toddler bed is also the crib that will be needed eventually AND because Andrew is enjoying jumping on the toddler bed way too much and I'm afraid he's going to break it...it's time he moves to a big-boy bed.
